Course Description

The Certificate III in Individual Support is a nationally recognised qualification for those that are seeking employment or wish to become qualified in the aged care; disability or home and community care industry.

Graduates would be responsible in following an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to individuals and will be required to use discretion and judgement in relation to their role.

By the completion of this qualification, graduates will have a range of factual, technical and procedural knowledge, along with some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and practices that are required to provide person-centred support.
