 Student Advice from Nan

“Don’t get involved with staff members too much, stay within your professional boundaries.”

“Thinking back to that time, applying for this role I was a bit scared at that time. I thought, my accent is different I am going to have some challenges. But slowly I have gained more confidence and love it so much.”

“Don’t be overconfident and don’t be afraid of asking, even after years In the industry I always double check.

“Pathway - this is a starting point, for example if you want to be a teacher, it doesn’t stop here working as a n EC only, if you want to further or do something more rewarding and you can go from here, credits can be used. There are so many pathway options, even management.”
